This article talks about the Windows-based, downloadable edition of the Warrior Trading Simulator, which is being retired after July 31st, 2026. Users of the new, web-based platform should refer to this folder instead. Members can use the Member Renewal & Information page to learn more about how to transition to the new platform.
Here are the parameters you can set to create a "break even" hotkey in the WT Sim. You may hear Ross refer to his own breakeven hotkey as CTRL + B which is what we have set this to in these suggested settings.

In trading, "breaking even" means you have neither made nor lost money. Note: the above break-even hotkey doesn't factor in commission costs, but you can adjust your settings in a live platform to break even with consideration to commission costs as well.
The purpose of the break-even hotkey is usually to create a no-risk trade for a remainder of shares that you have already profited from in a trade. It is best to always make sure to first cancel any pending orders when making any new exit orders (i.e the existing stop that went with an original order) and then place a your new stop order.
