If you would like the WT Sim login screen to remember your Trader ID so that you do not need to enter it manually, follow the steps below after shutting down your simulator if it is currently in use.
- 1. Right click on the WT Sim logo on your desktop.
- Select Properties.
- On the window that pops up, focus on the "Target" field. At the very end of the target field, you will want to make sure it shows "/Pid:" At the end of that please input your correct Trader ID. The screenshot below has the section highlighted What a typical ID would look like:
- Click Apply.
- You might get an notification saying you need Administrator permission. Select Continue.
- Click OK.
To test the adjustment, double-click on the WT Sim icon on your desktop to launch the simulator. You should now see your Trader ID and not need to enter it again in the future. Proceed to enter your password to sign in.
